About the NTA

The Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA) is an international leader in the field of functional nutrition and wellness. We work towards changing the paradigm of nutrition and healing by delivering an ancestral perspective with integrity.

We are an educational organisation founded with the philosophy that the health problems of modern society are the result of poor biochemical foundations that do not support good health. The NTA has trained tens of thousands of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (NTPs) worldwide, many of whom are health care professionals, to help their clients reverse the ill effects of the modern diet.

We go beyond food to include agricultural economic justice and environmental sustainability, championing sustainable local and organic food production, animal rights, and the environment.

The NTA’s passionate community has one dedicated focus: to redefine health by nourishing, educating, and connecting individuals and communities. Our NTPs know that there are other important factors for health outside the scope of nutritional therapy, and do what they can to promote awareness.

While every community has its beliefs around what they eat, none match the dedication, passion and knowledge of the NTA’s community. Our instructors, staff, students and graduates are unified by their common purpose and strong desire to help others. Read more at

NTA Aus/NZ offers training for Nutritional Therapy Practitioners at five locations around Australia and New Zealand, currently enrolling around 150 students a year.

NTA Australia/New Zealand was launched in 2014. The first class of 15 students was held in Brisbane.

We enjoy 200% growth year on year. We have plans for more venues and many more Nutritional Therapy Practitioners.

Anticipated Numbers

The Nutritional Therapy Association has trained over 6000 Nutritional Therapists globally to date, who maintain membership and strong connections with our functional health community. We offer programs in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and USA.

The conference is 2 days, complete with keynotes, networking opportunities, trade hall and drum circle. Attendees have the opportunity to earn Continuing Education Units by attending the conference.

We can expect at least 20-30% of our graduates and students of our fast-growing organisation to attend in our first year—at least 100. Potential students, allied practitioners and

interested consumers will provide a further anticipated 100 attendees.

By way of example, NTA USA’s conference attendance accelerated rapidly over a 12 year period.

Amplified Reach

Each NTA graduate has a potential reach of several hundred to several thousand further interested customers.

Many of our graduates run highly successful online businesses and share products and services they feel will help their audience.

NTA Australia/ New Zealand itself has a reach of 10,000+ nutrition enthusiasts through its various media channels.
